Pulled from the forthcoming sophomore LP of NYC producer Gobby, the twisted and bizarre “Aantezeksyll” gets an oddly charming video treatment. Here, the largely beatless track serves as the soundtrack to a new expedition within another of Gobby’s hand-built worlds—the video for album cut “Red Seal” was made in a similarly DIY fashion. Rendered from household art supplies and paper mache, butterflies, bees, ladybugs, frogs, snails, and turtles inhabit the video’s strangely serene miniature world. “Aantezeksyll,” and the rest of Gobby’s Wakng Thrst For Seepng Banee LP, is set to drop via UNO later this month.
