After revealing the details of its brand-new Yearling LP, Orcas (a.k.a. Benoît Pioulard and Rafael Anton Irisarri) has released a video for lead single “Infinite Stillness.” Layering multiple black-and-white, hand-altered clips, director Sean Curtis Patrick‘s video pushes a grainy aesthetic which aptly matches the warmth of Orcas’ swooping guitars and compassionately murmured vocals. Blurred shots of Orcas performing in a recording studio pan across the band members and their instruments, leading to some scenes taking on a resemblance of My Bloody Valentine’s iconic Loveless artwork. While the duo’s Yearling LP saw a European release today, the record will drop stateside on April 15 via Morr Music.
