After announcing that his next 12″ will soon arrive via the 100% Silk imprint, New York-based producer Policy has debuted the first video for his forthcoming Postscript EP. “Grove Street Freeze”—created by Francis Hsueh and featuring an adorable child actor named Kaela Glaser—chronicles a paper origami crane that comes alive and glides around a city stuck in suspended animation. With a slinky bassline weaving fashionably late through the synth-addled landscape, the track’s melodic refrains and easygoing production style make for an intricate, funky counterpoint to the visuals.
