Following his recent Anything in Return LP—a record we talked at length with him about for our In the Studio series—Berkeley-via-South Carolina producer Toro y Moi has shared a video for “Never Matter.” The funk-filled tune is accompanied by a vignette of gleeful (and sometimes confused) dancers whose moves were shot at a flea market in the man’s hometown of Columbia, South Carolina. Perhaps as a reward for those viewers willing to stick it out to the very end, director Steve Daniels even throws in a bit of a twist during the tune’s closing minutes.
