With his ESTOILE NAIANT LP arriving via Warp later this month, experimental UK producer patten has shared another of its 10 tracks, delivering the dense and skittering “Agen” with a music video described as “an elegant exercise in typology.” Visual artist and frequent patten collaborator Jane Eastlight created the clip with hundreds of images found randomly using search terms on the internet, aiming to “create a unique vision of a fever-dreaming stream of consciousness.” The resulting imagery aptly mirrors the lavish and erratic new music from patten, and can be seen below, before ESTOILE NAIANT drops on February 25.
