On International Women’s Day, Point Blank hosted a range of free DJ and music production workshops for those identifying as female.

The day was the brainchild of Point Blank’s Content Executive Carly Hordern, who also reported from the event at Point Blank’s Orsman Road studios. As Carly explains in the video, the aim of the day was to give women a boost in getting into music with hands-on workshops taking in hardware, software, DJing, working with vocals, Logic, Ableton, and modular synthesis. Instructors on the day included Ceri Owens, Leddra Chapman, Natasha Klerks, Bamz, Halina Rice, and Chelsea Bruno.
