The second episode of art and technology company VSCO‘s new video series, Venue, features a collaborative audio/visual performance from Ghostly International artists Shigeto and Michael Cina. The live performance of Shigeto’s “Do My Thing” was shot at the SIR New York studio facilities in Manhattan and includes a brief but insightful intro from the Shigeto.

Shigeto accentuates the importance of a visual accompaniment to a live musical performance and how his and Michael Cina’s longstanding relationship has played a role in crafting an impeccable aesthetic relationship. The kinetic paintings featured in the video were crafted by Cina and then scored live by the impressive music video director and visual designer EFFIXX.
