Soon after the release of their sophomore LP for Planet Mu (stream that here), John Kowalski and Rian Trench, the two producers/musicians of Solar Bears, invited Yours Truly to document a performance of Supermigration closer “Rainbow Collision.” Recorded in the band’s studio in Delgany, Ireland, the piece presents an up-close-and-personal look at Solar Bears’ live setup—which finds the two core members working with two more musicians to realize their shimmering and stratospheric jam—in addition to a brief interview with Kowalski and Trench.
