Entering the final stretch of its six-part run, the fifth installment of Red Bull Music Academy‘s illuminating Diggin’ in the Carts series has arrived, with the latest clip focusing on Nobuo Uematsu, the composer behind the music of the Final Fantasy series. The 16-minute episode is dedicated almost entirely to telling Uematsu’s story and how he—somewhat improbably—became the composer of the music for the esteemed Final Fantasy series of video games, creating soundtracks that would eventually be performed by world-class orchestras.
