Warp label mainstay and one-time XLR8R podcast contributor Clark is only a couple of weeks away from releasing his latest single, the two-track “Superscope” b/w “Riff Through the Fog.” But ahead of the record’s appearance on March 10, we can now hear the entirety of its a-side cut, courtesy of a mesmerizingly simplistic new video. The piece was directed by London artist Vincent Oliver for Adoxo, and relies entirely on the visuals of one oscilloscope; as the director puts it, “What you see is one shot—no video effects, no video editing.” Oliver’s impressive visuals are paired with equally intriguing music, with Clark returning to the kinds of punchy, anxious, and hyper-detailed beats he built his name on.
