Brooklyn is buzzing this weekend as the Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival (BEMF) takes over Williamsburg across seven venues including Output, Music Hall of Williamsburg, Verboten and others, while featuring acts like Daniel Avery, Floating Points (Live), George Fitzgerald, Matrixxmann, and Virginia.
This Friday, Lights Down Low presents the Los Angeles premiere and first official US tour of Kompakt’s Barnt. The event will take place at an underground location and supporting acts include Soo Wavey record boss Vin Sol, Richie Panic, Corey Sizemore and Masha.
On Saturday, the Amsterdam label Lumberjacks In Hell celebrates their 5 year anniversary at Studio 80 with Maurice Folton, Rahaan, Mr Mendel, Dikkens and label boss Marcel Vogel.
