Image-Line, the company behind the traditionally PC-only FL Studio DAW (a more sophisticated descendant of Fruity Loops), has announced plans to release a native Mac version of the production software next year. As Attack Magazine reports, Image-Line has updated its FAQ section to reveal that the development of a Mac-specific version of FL Studio is nearing completion. Though no release date has been announced yet, both the PC and Mac versions of the program’s forthcoming update, FL Studio 12, are expected to arrive sometime in 2015. Before then, the company’s full statement on the Mac development and what it means for the future of FL Studio can be read here.
