The stateside Rebel blog/label minted a new sister imprint today, Amadeus, with the release of a four-track EP from Chicago resident Savile. The EP features the original mix of “Being,” but this “In House” mix certainly hits the spot, too, as it has just about everything you could ask for in a mellow house number—including funky bass licks, silky chords, and enough hooks to keep this one spinning in your head for days. The vocals are strangely alluring and androgynous in their tone, but irresistibly catchy in their refrain.
