Today, we’re unveiling the title track of the next 12″ scheduled to drop via The Miracles Club‘s Ecstasy imprint, a Chicago house-indebted number called “Elevate.” Finesse, the Portland-based duo behind this deep tune, showcases its love for cyclical basslines, simple 808 rhythms, chilly synth tones, and sporadic vocal flourishes, among other vintage sounds, throughout the production—never once breaking from the dance-music-revivalist character it plays so well. And if you’re ready for this pair to take you a little higher, check out more info on their record—which includes remixes from San Francisco producers Jason Kendig and C.L.A.W.S., along with b-side “Believe”—here, and the spooky interpretive-dance music video for Finesse’s “Elevate” after the jump.
