The inspiring hip-hop compilation AMAL (arabic word for HOPE) is a charity driven collaboration between twenty-one French producers who have put together a collection of beats on the imprint Mutant Ninja to help raise money for the charity A Syrian Dream. With the goal of providing education and psycho-social support for the most vulnerable Syrian children that have been affected by the region’s current turmoil, this beat-tape is an eclectic and gratifying release that fights for a just cause.

Featuring some France’s rising and most admired instrumentalists such as Tcheep, Chicho Cortez, Vax-1, James Delleck, 20syl, Asagaya, Sims, Slivanoe, and more, this release has received a considerable amount of attention and support from both in both France and abroad. To help draw more attention to this tasty release and the important cause it services, GooMar has gifted us his contribution to this compilation, titled “Stankey,” as today’s XLR8R download. The burnished, jazzy beat uses repetitive and crisp piano chords that swing alongside stuttering symbols and transparent drum patterns that give the track considerable texture and flight.

All proceeds made from selling this album go to A Syrian Dream who provide education a safe and warm haven for children in Syria. You can purchase the entire beat-tape by going here.
