Preeminent Ghostly artist Matthew Dear is set to follow up last year’s Black City LP with a new offering of locked-groove pop called Headcage, a four-song EP that arrives ahead of his forthcoming Beams full-length on January 17. The title track kicks off the new bunch of tunes, showcasing the veteran producer’s penchant for funky dancefloor sounds and baritone vocal hooks.
