Like its “The Feeling” tune from a couple months ago, 2400 Operator‘s “Projects” opens with a big, thumping kick that sets the tone for the moody electro cut. The song—lifted off the Danish duo’s forthcoming NV Electro EP—begins to soar as layers upon layers of screeching synths enter the lofty soundscape, all which is grounded by the deep bassline at its core. As the tune takes various turns, shuffling and ascending melodies pair with flitting hi-hats to take control of 2400 Operator’s groove, effectively bolstering the tune’s dancefloor potential.
