London-based producer Scarper will drop his latest EP, Lacuna, on December 9 via Plexus Records. Although Lacuna will be Scarper’s first official release in over two years, it follows a string of remixes, including one for bass artist Reso, and a contribution to the acclaimed Touched Bass compilation alongside the likes of John Tejada and The Hacker.

“Lacuna” will be the first single taken from Scarper’s debut album, which is due to land early next year, and features remixes from fellow Plexus alum Pause and Jani R. The single and its remixes sit comfortably with the stylings of Aphex Twin and early Warp releases, but also stand as modern interpretations of the sound.

In support of the single, Scarper and Plexus have offered up Jani R’s remix of “Lacuna” as a download via WeTransfer below.
