Earlier this month, South China label Unchained Recordings released Void | Corruption, the new EP from Sinistarr.

The label—an offshoot of Unchained Asia, a bass music collective of China and Hong Kong-based DJs, promoters, and producers—launched in August of this year with Subp Yao’s Backwitda EP, a forward-thinking bass-driven four tracker. Now, the label continues the momentum with Sinistarr’s Void | Corruption, a two-track exercise in mind-bending halftime. From the futuristic sound design and side-stepping rhythms of “Corruption” to the stripped-back head-nodding groove of “Void,” the new EP is sure to please bass heads the world over.

In support of the EP, Sinistarr has offered up “Corruption” as today’s XLR8R download, available via WeTransfer below.
