Back in November of 2015, Catalonian synth masters The Suicide Of Western Culture released Long Live Death! Down With Intelligence!, their third studio album, on Primavera Sound’s imprint El Segell del Primavera. Now, just over a year later, the album returns in the form of a remix package for album cut “Dysplasia,” featuring reworks from Reykjavik 606, Pina, Pedro Vian, and Fairmont & Undo.

The remix package dropped on 12″ back in January and in support of the release, the label has graciously offered up Fairmont & Undo’s remix as today’s XLR8R download. Many of our readers will be familiar with the Fairmont & Undo, but for those who aren’t they specialize in emotive, synth-heavy dancefloor tracks. Their rework of “Dysplasia” follows much in the same suit with a deep and rolling low-end, razor-sharp percussion, and soaring synth lines—a fitting club refit to the ferocity of the original cut.
