Manchester-based producer Oceaán is set to unleash his debut, self-titled EP via Chess Club at the end of the month, and has shared smooth EP cut “Turned Away” to give us a taste of its sounds. Rife with soulful R&B samples and warm synth tones, Oceaán’s sultry, slow-grooving jam rides a playful beat made of pops, snaps, and claps as it accentuates the organic vocal sounds. Furthermore, the UK artist also sent over a mix of influences, one filled with sweeping dancefloor cuts from the likes of Brendon Moeller, Pearson Sound, Bok Bok & Tom Trago, and Ben Klock, among others. That DJ set and its tracklist can be checked out after the jump, before the Oceaán EP drops on March 31.
