Cuatroveinte is a Mexico City crew focused on spreading bass-heavy sonics throughout its enormous city by throwing events that feature international touring artists as well as a good deal of the Mexican capital’s local talent. To celebrate a year of successful operations, Cuatroveinte will release Lissajous Uno later this month, a compilation of free tracks from some of the city’s budding producers. Included on the upcoming 10-track collection will be “Her Majesty,” a spacey, half-timed excursion from local beatmaker Wet n’ Groove, whose dub-indebted track balances tropical percussion and melodies with a good deal of bass weight across the track’s six-plus-minute run. “Her Majesty” can be grabbed below before Cuatroveinte’s full Lissajous Uno compilation drops on March 30.
