Although the digital remix EP for Berlin-based duo UMA‘s (pictured above) single “Wild At Heart” was released last month, we thought you’d still like the chance to nab this solid rework of the tune by the Berlin-based Irish producer The Drifter, who recently inaugurated his new Maeve label with Mano Le Tough. In the remixer’s hands, the married couple’s original song is contorted into a low-lying, rattling techno tune, with looped vocal samples ducking out from behind the layer of bass and hooting synths. Unlike Doc Daneek’s version of this track, The Drifter manages to retain the slow-burning nature of UMA’s new single.
