“Your Eyes Were Green” is a particularly subterranean new tune from Visionist. Pulled from his upcoming Crying Angels EP—which, according to the London producer, is said to be comprised of “mainly grime refixes I’ve done by playing the melody with RND vox samples”—”Your Eyes Were Green” closes out the offering as its sole original production. The cut has no trouble fitting in with the brooding push and tense atmosphere created by the three tracks which precede it, as it boasts tuned and overdriven 808s which envelop a series of warbly synth pads and ghostly melodies. Visionist’s Crying Angels EP will be self-released on Thursday through his Bandcamp, but can currently be previewed via the player found after the jump.
