Jamie Roberts has launched a new solo project, entitled Bored Young Adults.

Having funnelled most of his attention into collaborative endeavors over the past few years with Pariah (as Karenn) and Surgeon (as Trade), Roberts is back on his own with the Bored Young Adults project. His first release under the moniker will be a three-tracker via Will Bankhead‘s Trilogy Tapes. The pair have worked together before—Roberts released one of his most memorable tracks, “Why They Hide Their Bodies Under My Garage,” via Bankhead’s Hinge Finger back in 2012. His new material looks set to explore a different end of the techno spectrum, delving into relatively reduced tempos and unusual acid lines. For a taste of what to expect, stream the title track below.

Shy Dancers On Bungalowdorf Beach is due out on July 29.
