The sixth release on Nick Höppner‘s Touch From A Distance comes from Cameo Blush, the project of John Dunk from London.

Dunk is the saxophonist in Ross From Friends’ live set, and this is his debut solo outing.

Murky Waters is oozing with emotional depth and purposeful confidence. It takes cues from masters of abstract electronica like Isolée, Lusine, and Boards Of Canada, creating an audible allegory of longing and sensuality.

Cameo Blush is currently working on a live set which he will premiere at this year’s Field Maneuvers festival.

Touch From A Distance, launched in 2018, has put out releases from Brother Nebula, Desert Sound Colony, and Opal Sunn.

Murkey Waters EP lands August 16, with clips below.
