After dropping the soaring “Brandy Flip” and an exceptional self-titled EP via Goon Club Allstars last year, London producer MssingNo has remained quiet for most of 2014. Today, we hear a bit of action from the grime craftsman, as he’s turned in a new remix for UK songstress Shura‘s (pictured above) recent “Just Once” single. As heard on this new rework, MssingNo’s proficiency for dizzyingly colorful beatwork (a talent which landed the producer on our Artists to Watch list earlier this year) is clearly alive and well, as a series of gliding synths and slippery melodies are laid behind Shura’s airy vocals on this new production.
