Dino Sabatini’s next album, Omonimo, will be the first in the “Opera” series that he is launching on his own Outis Music label.

Sabatini came to prominence through the Elettronica Romana label, alongside the likes of Donato Dozzy and Giorgio Gigli, and has since had releases on the likes of Prologue, Sonic Groove, Stroboscopic Artefacts, and at home on his own Berlin-based imprint, Outis Music. His next album will be put out through the latter, and marks the beginning of the “Opera” series, which has the objective of releasing music “free of boundaries or schemes.” Omonimo promises to fulfil this role, moving away from the minimalist techno structures he is known for, and instead toying with ambient sounds, trip-hop and more.

Omonimo will be released on April 8, as a mixed CD, and as an unmixed version both digitally and on vinyl. Pre-order it at the Outis Music store. Check out a video teaser for the album below.
