With five singles released so far this year and a full-length on the way via Dekmantel, Jersey City resident Joey Anderson has just dropped a brand-new mix. As was detailed in our recent Bubblin’ Up profile of the artist, Anderson is part of a growing wave of veteran NYC/New Jersey house heads who are now establishing themselves as DJ/producers in their own right, a trend that includes such current deep house talents as DJ Qu, Fred P, Levon Vincent, and Anthony Parasole. Over the course of Anderson’s hour-long mix, he covers plenty of murky, late-night club territory, using tracks from the likes of Roy Davis, Jr., Terre Thaemlitz (a.k.a. DJ Sprinkles), Omar S, and Fred P. The mix can be downloaded via Resident Advisor, here.
