Jon Hopkins is currently riding high off the unanimous critical success of his XLR8R Pick’d new album Immunity. Now, on the same day he appeared in our In the Studio feature series, the UK producer has become the latest contributor to FACT’s frequently excellent mix series, turning in something that sits somewhere between a DJ set and a live session, with Hopkins adding keyboards and other sounds to most of the tracks. With a tracklist that features some of the biggest contemporary names in adventurous house and techno—including Actress, Scuba, Boddika, Joy Orbison, and Matthew Dear—the podcast offers an insight into some of the artist’s inspiration for his cinematic music.
