Not long after he delivered a brand-new EP via fledging digital label TAR, Teklife affiliate DJ Earl (pictured above) has been enlisted to remix the lead single from Machinedrum‘s recent Vapor City LP, the XLR8R Pick’d “Eyesdontlie.” Already a tune with its share of juke-referencing undertones, DJ Earl injects a good deal of his own Chicago-bred production techniques into “Eyesdontlie,” sharpening the corners and unapologetically chopping the shit out of Machinedrum’s original track.
