Floating Points (a.k.a. Sam Shepherd) has shared news of an upcoming 12″, which will see release via his own his own Eglo imprint early next month. Though details around the UK producer’s anticipated Nuits Sonores EP are still scarce, the two-track affair follows from his recent King Bromeliad EP and “Sparkling Controversy” single (released earlier this summer), and is set to arrive on December 8. Until then, previews for both tracks included on Nuits Sonores (listed below) can be heard here. Shepherd also recently helped design a new rotary mixer in collaboration with music gear company Isonoe; further info on that initiative is available here. (via Resident Advisor)

Update: Floating Points has shared a full stream of the record’s a-side cut, which can be heard in its entirety via the player below.
