Gerd has started a new label.

Gert-Jan Bijl’s latest enterprise is Frame Of Mind, a new imprint that promises to serve both new music and reissues from himself and others (especially stuff that he feels deserves “to be in the spotlight even more”). It is not his first label endeavor—the veteran Dutch artist also has a hand in 4 Lux, Lifeworld, Amplified and a number of other imprints.

Frame Of Mind’s first release will be a 1992 underground house classic Ruff Disco Volume One by Milo Johnson, better known today as DJ Nature, under his Nature Boy alias. The album was originally released via New York imprint The Black Label and has since become a collector’s choice LP.

Ruff Disco Volume One will be reissued as a double vinyl pack on April 18, followed by a digital release ten days later. Stream “Tobago” in full below.
