Gold Panda Shares New Video and Announces New EP
'Your Good Times Are Just Beginning' EP is scheduled for November 18 release.
Following the release of his third album Good Luck And Do Your Best in May, a surprise EP release (Junes Kingdom EP) and the release of a photography book in collaboration with London-based photographer Laura Lewis, Gold Panda ends 2016 with another new EP.
To accompany the EP announcement, Gold Panda has shared a new video for Your Good Times Are Just Beginning, which features on both the album and the new EP. Filmed in Norwich Arts Centre by Robbie Knox, the video was edited by and features imagery from Gold Panda’s touring visual artist Dan Tombs. The video is streamable below.
The new EP will be available as a six-track collection both digitally and on CD and also as a limited edition three-track 12″.
The digital and CD six-track collection is led by the elegiac, hopeful final track from his album Your Good Times Are Just Beginning. The song is backed up with a reimagining of album highlight ”Chiba Nights” that is flipped into ”Chiba Days,” plus three remixes of music taken from his latest record.
The EP is the final musical missive to be taken from this period of Gold Panda activity and is accompanied by both a limited 12″ containing the three remixes featured here, as well as an art book which is a collaboration between Derwin and photographer Laura Lewis, who also provided all the art for the Good Luck And Do Your Best album.
