Grischa Lichtenberger and Jesse Osborne-Lanthier have shared details of a new collaborative EP they are releasing via Cosmo Rhythmatic this June.

Cosmo Rhythmatic is an offshoot of Berlin-based Repitch, which has so far released music by the likes of Mika Vainio & Franck Vigroux, as well as an EP by Shapednoise and Black RainRaster-Noton affiliate Lichtenberger and Jesse Osborne-Lanthier are in charge of their fourth release.

Inspired by their 2014 performance at Mutek (entitled ‘Conversations Sur Lettres Mortes’), the duo have crafted a release using various cathode ray television sets and VHS units, which moves between glitchy noises and rhythmic sounds. The duo have also enlisted remixes by Low Jack, Gábor Lázár and Rabit, which cover grime, hardcore and breakbeats.

CSLM is due out June 9. Check out a trailer for the EP below, featuring one of its cuts, “House / Magma.”
