Sydney duo Freda & Jackson are prepped to launch their first 12″ on Moonshoe Records.

Jackson is the brainchild of Moonshoe records and, following a string of singles, the imprint is prepping to release its debut EP, MSH002. The five tracks on the EP range from hip-hop influenced broken beat to house cuts and beat-driven interludes, it’s a sound that derives influences from jazz, hip-hop, and afro-beat in equal measures.

In support of the forthcoming release, Moonshoe Records have offered up a full stream of opening cut, “Sigh,” which you can hear via the player below. It’s a track filled with jazzy chords and gritty, swinging grooves and is a perfect introduction to the duo’s sound.

MSH002 will be released on April 4, with “Sigh” streamable in full below.
