Earlier this year, Owen Pallett released In Conflict, the Canadian artist’s latest full-length effort for Domino. Now, Pallett has gathered a number of remixes for album cut “Song For Five & Six,” enlisting late footwork pioneer DJ Rashad—along with his longtime collaborator DJ Spinn (both pictured above)—The Cyclist, and German vocalist/producer Ada to rework the song for a new EP.

Out today, the Song For Five & Six Remixes EP finds each contributor approaching their shared task from a different angle: frequent DJ Koze collaborator Ada immerses Pallett’s original in a lush shuffle; DJ Rashad and DJ Spinn strip the track of its vocals, reshaping it to fit within a bouncing juke structure; and lastly, budding UK soundsmith The Cyclist buries “Song For Five & Six” beneath gritty layers of tweaked hardware. All three remixes for the new EP, and Pallett’s original version of the song, can be streamed in full below.
