Last month, Fantastic Mr Fox shared news of a forthcoming single, “You-Turn,” which heads off the arrival of a debut full-length expected in 2015. The single is scheduled to drop next week, and in the meantime, a b-side remix from London-based grime innovator Visionist (pictured above) has been made available to stream. While Fantastic Mr Fox’s original version enlists the vocal talents of Kid A and employs “trademark frosted hearbreak chords” and “a grime lilt on the drums and low-end” to yield its take on fractured electronic pop, Visionist supplies a moodier, more low-slung option, which finds the recent XLR8R podcast contributor dropping out the dynamic percussion and punching up the bassline.

“You-Turn” will see an official release on October 27 via Black Acre, and before then, Visionist’s b-side rework can be heard in full below.
