Horizon Festival has revealed its initial plans for 2017, including the first round of confirmed artists on the lineup as well as the relocation of the festival from its usual home in Bulgaria to the village of Arinsal in Andorra. The festival, which will celebrate its five-year anniversary in 2017, has quickly made a name for itself among the plethora of European destination festivals by pairing world class skiing and snow-related activities with a range of top-notch electronic performances and DJ sets.

2017 is set to be the biggest year so far for Horizon Festival—organizers have already locked in a diverse and eclectic cast of artists for the event’s musical offerings, which include forest raves, warehouse parties, and bonfire gatherings. Topping the first lineup announcement is Motor City Drum Ensemble and Bulgarian heavyweight KiNK, who has played Horizon Festival every year since its inception. The festival has promised a strong house and techno presence in 2017, with UK house expert Midland set to perform back-to-back with Ben UFO, as well as confirmed sets from Jasper James and Avalon Emerson. But there will also be a variety of more left-field electronic sounds to choose from: Horizon will host performances from garage icon Scott Garcia, dubstep vanguards El-B and Moony, and an exclusive showcase from legendary UK drum and bass label Shogun Audio. Aside from the festival’s stellar musical options, Horizon will coordinate snow sports tournaments, paintball, snow yoga, hot-spa cinemas, a music production lab, and much more.
