While there are many various parties, locations, and artists that are accredited with being massively influential forces on modern dance culture and music, Larry Levan’s weekly Paradise Garage party in New York City’s West Village between 1977 – 1987 is without question one of the earliest and most dominant. Having just recently celebrated a reunion at Verboten in Brooklyn, West Coasters will be able to enjoy a blast from the past this coming December at KCRW & Good For You Records Present – A Night At The Paradise Garage.

Taking place at the Hollywood Palladium on December 19, original club residents Joey Llanos and David Depino will play hours of classic house and disco in order to raise money for Gay Men’s Health Crisis (GMHC). In addition to donating ticketing funds, Good For You Records will release a double-vinyl compilation that features artists such as Frankie Knuckles, Angel Moraes, Romain Gowe, and more.
