Cloud-based mastering service LANDR has just announced a new DJ-specific mastering engine.

The new extension will offer the same functionality as the existing platform, which includes metadata editing, DAW integration, file management, and cloud storage backup, but will also use a new algorithm designed specifically for mixes—which will reportedly optimize multiple tracks in a mix and enhance the overall sound while protecting the transitions, build ups, and breakdowns.

In addition to the announcement of the DJ engine, LANDR has also partnered with Native Instruments to make it possible to master the Stems format in the future.

You can test out the new DJ engine for free for two months by heading here.
