It’s not often that Montreal producer Jacques Greene offers up a new DJ mix, which makes his new entry in the Oki-Ni mix series a certifiable ‘big deal,’ at least in internet terms. Described by the young artist as, “a collection of music from the worlds of pop, house, techno, and some of the weird modern cross-sections between all three,” the hour-long mix, which he’s dubbed Oscillate, does not have a tracklist, but can be streamed below. The Vase label head also states, “Most of the music in this mix relies on deft synth programming to establish mood, energy, direction. The mix also oscillates from slow numbers to no-holds-barred rave moments, hopefully with a common thread to hold it all together.”
