LA-via-Portland synth-pop duo Soft Metals is a week from releasing its second long-player via Brooklyn’s decidedly nostalgic Captured Tracks label, and has preemptively posted all of its eight tracks online to be streamed in full. Lenses finds Ian Hicks and Patricia Hall continuing to refine the ’80s-centric sound pushed on their first album, Soft Metals, albeit with a bit of a darker edge and more eclectic sound palette than before. Prior to the release of Lenses on July 16, Soft Metals’ forthcoming record can be heard in its entirety below, where a sizable list of its upcoming tour dates can also be found. (via FACT)
