We were tipped off to Theo Parrish‘s forthcoming Black Jazz Signature compilation for the Snow Dog label back in June, and now with the release date around the corner on August 20, the iconic Detroit artist’s hand-picked selections can now be heard in full. The 12-track collection of largely esoteric jazz tunes is essentially a re-release of the Black Jazz label’s highlights according to Parrish, who presents each song in its original, uncut form.
