Mike Shannon, a techno veteran often found operating just below the radar, has announced that his first EP of the year will have a home on Exone, the imprint helmed by Berlin duo Exercise One, who also contributes a remix to the endeavor. For his The Excusionist EP, Shannon purportedly “let the machines do the talking” across two tracks of dark techno—a feat he again proved himself more than capable of last year on his XLR8R podcast.
