Papaya Playa Project Announces Full Moon Party with Jimpster
The Mexican eco-resort will host the Freerange Records boss on June 18.
Papaya Playa Project, a boutique hotel near Tulum, Mexico, has revealed details surrounding the lineup for upcoming parties at the hotel’s beach club. Since opening in the winter of 2011, Papaya Playa Project has paved the way for a new form of responsible hospitality in Tulum—one that merges local culture, sustainability, and creative expression with all the amenities of a high-end eco-resort. Sitting just a few kilometers from Tulum’s town center on a pristine spot overlooking the Caribbean Sea, the beach club at Papaya Playa Project easily launched itself onto the radar of travelling music lovers through impressive bookings for the club’s Full Moon parties and “PPP Invites” events. The parties, which aim to pair international tastemakers with local Mexican talent, have seen an array of electronic virtuosos grace the decks of Papaya’s beach club during past editions, including Bruno Pronsato of Perlon, Solar, and Ricoshei. The club has also hosted quality label showcases from the likes of Watergate and Giegling.
On June 4, Papaya Playa Project invites Venezuelan techno powerhouse and Melisma contributor Argenis Brito. On June 18, Freerange Records head Jimpster is set to play the beach club’s first Full Moon Party of the summer.
