Montréal’s Piknic Électronik summer Sunday series has released details of its 2016 program, which kicks off May 22.

Now approaching its 14th edition, Piknic Électronik is the Montréal event series that brings international electronic artists to Canada throughout summer. This year the opening event takes place May 22-23, and will feature performances by Bulgarian techno producer KiNK, Ben UFO, Four Tet, and Vancouver’s Project Pablo going back to back with local artist Francis Oak.

From there on in, the lineups go from strength to strength. Fans of techno can look forward to Berghain resident Len Faki‘s DJ set on May 29, while house fans have a wealth of acts to check out across the summer—tINI, George FitzGerald, Wolf & Lamb, San Proper, and Rush Hour‘s Antal—as well as the likes of DJ Harvey and Lena Willikens.

Following the success of last year’s series, Piknic Électronik are organising a handful of free Thursday events in addition to the rest of the program, taking place June 16, July 28 and August 25 (as well as two free Saturday events on July 9 and 16). The series wraps up on October 2, with a lineup that is so far undisclosed.
