Premiere: Hear a Track from Semantica’s 10-Year Anniversary Release
To be released in 10 parts, the series will feature cuts from Regis, Voices From The Lake, Surgeon, Silent Servant, and Donato Dozzy, among many others.
Svreca‘s imprint Semantica has announced a sprawling 10-year anniversary release series and a worldwide tour—both of which will kick off on March 18 and March 4, respectively.
To be dropped in 10 parts, the release series will include contributions from some of techno biggest heavy hitters including Surgeon, Silent Servant, Peter Van Hoesen, Vril, Abdulla Rashim, Cio D’Or, and Etapp Kyle, among others.
The first instalment, titled Semantica 10.1, will feature cuts from Donato Dozzy, Mod21, Stanislav Tolkachev, and Skirt. The four tracks featured on Semantica 10.1 arrive from all corners of the techno spectrum, from Dozzy’s tool-like, synth-driven “Rotary 3” to Tolkachev’s trippy, floor-focused cut “Stockholm Syndrome.” It’s a beautifully curated record that will surely find its way into the collections of techno lovers the world over.
Running alongside the release series is the worldwide tour. So far, the celebrational tour will stop for two night in Japan—at Unit in Tokyo and at Kansai’s Troopcafe—and for a showcase at Stardust club in Madrid, one of Svreca’s regular dancefloors, with more Semantica showcases to be revealed in the coming weeks.
To support the announcement, Semantica has offered up a full stream of Stanislav Tolkachev’s “Stockholm Syndrome,” which you can stream via the player above, with a preorder available here.
