Los Angeles native and proficient vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Zack Sekoff is scheduled to release his second full-length album via Alpha Pup Records on January 15.

In the fall of 2014, as he made his way across the country to start his freshman year at the prestigious Yale University, Sekoff was struck by feelings of uncertainty about his future as a musician. Leaving his musical cohorts behind with the knowledge that the school work that lie ahead would take up a huge portion of his mental bandwidth, it was unclear whether or not his creative output would dwindle or flourish. Luckily, the latter occurred. As a result, we have Remnants of a Winter Suna full-length LP recorded partially on a Laptop in his dorm room and later mastered by world renowned engineer and Alpha Pup founder Daddy Kev.

Ahead of the album’s release, Sekoff has shared with XLR8R an exclusive premiere of album cut “Debauchery,” featuring Brainfeeder virtuoso Thundercat. The stirring and prismatic track showcases vaporous synths and scurrying rhythms that hover above the all consuming basslines crafted by these ivy league artists.
