Following a widely successful debut event in 2011—which featured performances from the likes of Skream, Professor Green, Goldie, and Don Letts, among others—Red Bull Music Academy has just revealed the initial details for its second Revolutions In Sound event. This year’s rendition boasts a similar format to the first: Again in London, the one-night party will again take place in all 30 of EDF Energy‘s intimate, spherical capsules atop Europe’s tallest ferris wheel. This time around, however, the event has taken a big leap forward, announcing that it will broadcast the performances from all capsules in real time via YouTube for fans all over the globe and via 4oD for UK viewers. Though a lineup of performers has yet to be announced, Red Bull Music Academy has revealed a handful of prominent UK clubs that are slated to curate the unique party—including Danny Rampling’s Shoom, Steve Strange’s The Blitz Club, Bugged Out!, Talkin’ Loud and Saying Something, Glasgow’s Sub Club, Metalheadz, Bristol’s Motion, London Warehouse Events, Sheffield’s Jive Turkey, and West London’s Yo Yo. Expect more details to surface before the events take place on November 14, but in the meantime, catch a glimpse of the unparalleled atmosphere at 2011’s Revolutions In Sound in the recap video below.
